Recommendation Letter

Bandung, 26 October 2020 Dear Oxford University Admissions Committee,  It is with great satisfaction that I recommend Ayudya Restu to the University of Oxford. I am Hanan Ainayya, The Headmaster at SMAN 3 Bandung. I have 8 years of experience working in SMAN 3 Bandung and have seen many young professionals come and go. This year Ayudya Restu caught my attention. I believe Ayudya would be an excellent addition to Oxford University.  While being a student at 3 High School, Ayudya has always challenged herself academically. She is an active participant in class discussions and can grasp the material quickly more than other participants. From the first day of class, Ayudya impressed her homeroom teacher greatly with her calm and calculated attitude. She never hesitated to ask for help when the subject matter was unclear and would stay after school to attend an additional class. She showed great interest in the course and her passion for the field of mathematics is evident. I was a...

Nico's Weg

FILM REVIEW "Nico’s Weg" I will write a blog about the film that I watched last week. The film is titled "Nico's Weg" after I watched the film, in my opinion, there is a lot of moral messages and I think the film itself is good for learning because the film uses language that is easy to understand for the learner.   The moral messages of this story are don't put our belongings carelessly in public places, help people who are in trouble if you are in the position to help them, don't give up easily, and keep learning in any situations. This film tells that Nico's bag was carried by a taxi driver and Nico got help from Lisa to find his bag while searching for his bag Nico also makes many new friends and can hone his German language skills to be better. Nico also got a lot of interesting experiences while he was looking for the lost bag and his aunt and with the help of his new friends, Nico finally managed to find his lost bag and meet his aunt.   And n...

The Covid-19 coronavirus went from an outbreak to a full on global pandemic. Some companies are considering halting their hiring process until the situation improves. Chances are that companies  sourcing candidates online. There’s very little contact with the candidate beyond phone calls and emails. Allusion

Allusion in a song One Thing - One Direction Shot me out of the sky You're my kryptonite You keep making me weak Yeah, frozen and can't breathe In the lyric there is "kryptonite" which i n popular culture, Kryptonite is a radioactive element that makes Superman weak whenever he’s exposed to it. And it has  become a synonym of Achilles' heel , making it your fatal flaw that you sometimes can’t get away from.  So in my opinion the lyrics tell of 'you' who was a weakness for them because 'you' is like a kryptonite, so when they saw 'you' they would be "frozen and can't breath".

the goose that laid the golden egg There once was a very poor farmer. His name was Attacus Greeb. Now he hadn’t always been poor. He’d inherited a large and prosperous farm from his father and he’d owned land as far as the eye could see. But he was a lazy man. He didn’t like work. So over the years, instead of working for a living he'd simply sold off his possessions. He'd sold almost everything his father had given him - his house, his land, his horses, his pigs, his cattle and all he was left with was one single goose who lived with him.  'I have no house, no food and no money and nothing left to sell…I shall surely starve!'  wailed Attacus late one night and  then he looked at his goose. 'you haven't laid an egg in weeks, i will sell you to the market tomorrow.' And off he went to sleep.  The next morning he awoke to a glittering dawn. It was so light and bright he had to shield his eyes. But it wasn't the sunlight, he could hardly b...
